Ib.l.a.s.t. (I Buy Local and Shop in Town)

1. How long is my Ib.l.a.s.t. card valid?

The Ib.l.a.s.t. card is valid from the date of purchase until the end of the calendar year.  The earlier in the year you purchase your card, the more you save.

You can use your Ib.l.a.s.t. card every time you shop.  The more you use it, the more you save and the more you support our local economy. 

3. Is this the complete list of merchants and incentives?

No! The Ib.l.a.s.t. network is growing.  To see the most current list of participating merchants and incentives, click here.  Also, once you register, you'll receive additional promotions throughout the year. Rumor has it that the exclusives are better than the card itself!

4. How will I know if a merchant accepts the Ib.l.a.s.t. card?

You can always see an up to date list online but if you're out shopping and you want to know, look for our partner decal displayed at each participating businesses and a 4x6 frame highlighting their offer.  Once a month, we'll email you an updated list along with special promotions from our partners. 

5. Do I need to register my Ib.l.a.s.t. card? 

If you buy an Ib.l.a.s.t. card from a store, as opposed to online or directly from us, we recommend that you register your card.  Registering your card gets you on our email list so that you can receive information about new merchant partners and special promotions.  You can even register if you don't have a card!  We know that once you see all our great incentives and promotions, you'll want an Ib.l.a.s.t. card.  To register your card, click here. 

6. How do I use my Ib.l.a.s.t. card?

 All you need to do is present it at the time of purchase.

8. How does this help our community?

In addition to stimulating shopping in downtown, we donate 20% of our profits back to the community primarily through the Local First Fund at the New Canaan Community Foundation.
